Habitat ReStore emerged as a unique social enterprise under the umbrella of Habitat for Humanity International.
The concept was simple yet transformative: collect donated, gently used furniture and household items, and make them available for resale to the public at affordable prices. Proceeds from these sales directly fund Habitat’s building and rehabilitation projects across the island, establishing a sustainable cycle of giving and renewal.
Over the years, Habitat ReStore has grown from its humble beginnings into a cornerstone of the organisation’s mission. It provides cost-effective options for families looking to furnish or redecorate their homes. The ReStore fosters the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle model, where we find new purposes for old items helping to keep these items out of landfill and finding new homes.
Our new location at 53 King Street is a beautiful building with great space to showcase our gently used furniture and household goods. Habitat ReStore also has an art gallery, one of the only ones in Bermuda, that features both local artists original work as well as donated art pieces and framed prints.
